Pynimox (trading as Pynimox — The Next Machine Mind) is a software and artificial-intelligence engineering studio based in Jaffna, in the Northern Province of Sri Lanka. The studio designs and builds intelligent software for clients ranging from small and medium enterprises in Sri Lanka to global businesses, with a focus on AI automation, web and mobile applications, custom software, and the integration of large language models into existing products.
History and founding
Pynimox was founded in 2024 by Mathan Monishan, who operates the studio as its sole founder and proprietor. It is registered as a sole proprietorship and operates as an early-stage startup. The studio grew out of its founder's work in software engineering and applied machine learning, and was established to make advanced AI and modern software practices accessible to businesses that have historically been underserved by them — including local businesses in the Jaffna and Mannar districts — while also serving international clients.
